City of Korça

Korça is Albania’s sweetheart! Everything about this town is romantic, from its traditional Albanian serenades to its beautiful winter snow. Its traditional villas, cobble-stone streets glistening under the sun, the fresh mountain air, and hospitality, all combine to create an unparalleled warm and festive atmosphere all year round. Locals and visitors reserve their utmost loyalty when it comes to Korça, returning often to this postcard of a town. Once called “the little Paris,” Korça is one of the centers of Albanian arts and history, hosting some of the most fascinating museums in the country. The recently renovated Old Bazaar, a spice and food market surrounded by villas is teeming with people, energy and a casual nightlife scene. Korça’s famous culinary specialties, like lakror and kërnacka, and the surrounding mountainous villages, like Voskopoja and Boboshtica, are some of Albania’s most popular destinations.

City of KASTORIA

Kastoria is a city in northern Greece in the region of Western Macedonia, It is one of Macedonia’s most picturesque cities. From a distance, it looks like an Impressionist painting: houses, churches, trees seen through a haze, their reflections shimmering in the lake. In fact, it is regarded by the Greeks as one of the most beautiful towns in the country. Built on an isthmus on the shores of lovely lake Orestiada and surrounded by mountains, it is a city of old neighborhoods, narrow lanes, stately mansions and Byzantine churches. Kastoria has a long History which cannot fade with the passing of time. Proof of this, are the rich prehistorical and archaeological finds (signs of habitations near the lake at Dispilio, Armenohori e.t.c.). It is also the city of the Byzantine architecture. The 75 Byzantine and others churches are samples of a higher civilization and sociability of the city. In the past years, Kastoria had enormous wealth, particularly in the period from the 17th to the 19th century. It became economically prosperous through trade in furs and for this reason the city is very well known in Greece. The city combines the natural beauty with many spectacular sights and it is considered to be a heavenly place that worth to visit.
