Kastoria, through cultural and sports events, actively participates in supporting actions that highlight the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the place, aiming at the integrated tourism development of our Region.

July was a culturally active month with many events that promote culture, music and tradition.

On the 25th of July 2022 in Kastoria a concert by the famous musician Giannis Charoulis  took place at the Limnaio Oikismo.

Giannis Haroulis and his musicians continue the summer concerts and promise to share with us songs, music and joys that we all need. Old and new songs will become one this summer, just like a good company that does not look at ages, colors and distinctions.

Yiannis Haroulis promises to seduce us with all the songs we have loved and introduce us to new ones, from his new album “KOLIBRI”. An album full of thoughts and feelings that remind us that no matter how many difficulties we experience when we “share”, “express” and “communicate” our power multiplies.

09/07/22: Cycling Association 620: 6th Kastoria Brevet, cycling route with the name “Villages of oblivion – In the footsteps of Pavlos Melas

The specific route of Kastoria, which actually crosses the area of Kastoria and will continue to the area of Prespa, will start from the Park of the Olympic Flame of Kastoria, they will move to the small and large lap of the lake, they will continue to Lithia, Korisos, Dispelio, Maniakoi , Koromilia and will climb to the other side of our prefecture on the way to Gavros, New Settlement of Korestia, the brick buildings of Kraniona, Pavlos Mela, Kota, Lefkona, Psarades, Ag. Achillio, Lefkona, Kota, Gavros, Koromilia and return to Kastoria ending at the Kastoria Olympic Flame Park.

The route is 201 km with 2,300 positive elevation gains, with a time limit of 13.5 hours.

20/07/2022: With a delightful Jazz Funk music evening, the Courtyard Festival for the Summer of 2022 was completed, yesterday Wednesday 20 July 2022. Penelope Tseliou with her melodious voice and the talented musicians who accompanied her, seduced everyone who flooded the Courtyard of the Picheon Mansion on musical journeys that will be remembered for a long time. The Program of the 2nd period for the Cultural Summer 2022 of the Municipality of Kastoria will be announced soon.

7/17/22: The Progressive Association of Kastoria presents the theatrical performance, “Group Therapy” by Penny Phylaktaki, at the Mountain theater in Kastoria with the DIPETHE of Kozani.
