The Region of Western Macedonia – Regional Unit of Kastoria, through cultural and sports events, actively participates in supporting actions that highlight the cultural heritage and natural beauty of the place, aiming at the integrated tourism development of our Region.

1. 20th Torch Relay in Kastoria

The Association of Volunteer Blood Donors of Kastoria, organizes the 20th Torch Relay, at the Olympic Flame Park, on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 19:00. This year the ceremony will be accompanied by the band The PAGS.

2. In memory of Yiannis Sytilidis

The 7th exhibition of wildlife photography, in memory of Yannis Sytilidis, started today, Saturday 3 September 2022. The exhibition takes place from 17:00 to 22:00 on the south beach next to the parking lot, until Sunday, September 4, 2022.

3.Mikra Asia: commemorative events in Kastoria

This celebration aims to highlight and recall the events of the dramatic period of persecution, genocide and the uprooting of the Greeks of Asia Minor by the Turkish State.

The events will take place on Sunday 18 September.
