Panhellenic bicycle march in Kastoria
This event concerns the Panhellenic Cycling March that takes place once a year in over 30 cities across Greece. It is a reaction of citizens with bicycles in order to advance the National Strategy for Cycling, which is a set of “objectives” and “guidelines” that provides for overall measures – objectives and covers all areas of interest for cycling (education, incentives, infrastructure implementation targets, proposals for amendments to the Code of Motor Vehicles, etc.) and works CONSTANTLY in the effort to spread safe cycling.
Let us all help Kastoria to have a safe network of cycle paths and bicycle parking spaces, making the use of bicycles easier, making the everyday bicycle user feel safe, leave the car at home and use the bicycle for his/her transportation. This will help the next generation to learn from a young age to cycle safely through our city.
